On Memorial Day we took train trip to Port Jervis, New York, a small town along the Delaware River where New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania meet, about 90 miles (145 kilometers) northwest of New York City. I read an article a few years ago that named Port Jervis one of the coolest small towns in America—a claim that we found to be patently untrue. But on the bright side we have this: an adorable clip in which Fiona explains to her Mama and Daddy how a cannon works, and does a great job demonstrating the noise it makes.
