On a recent train adventure—to High Bridge, New Jersey, at the end of NJ Transit’s Raritan Valley Line—Dustin and Fiona had a picnic at a schoolyard playground. While there, Fiona learned about the curious sport of tetherball. This is the sort of thing that can keep a three-year-old occupied for hours. Well, a few minutes, anyway—which is longer than just about anything else holds their attention.
